In December of 2021, Congress passed an extension to the ITC, which provides a 30% tax credit for systems installed in 2022 through 2032, and a 26% tax credit for systems installed in 2033. Note that any solar systems installed before December 31, 2019 were eligible for a 30% tax credit. What this means to you, is that it would behoove you to act now as the tax credit insentives are gradually being deprecated.
